Speedrunners can complete The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom in under an hour thanks to an amazing exploit that allows you to teleport to the game's last boss.
The bug bypasses a large portion of the recently released Nintendo Switch game, warping protagonist Zelda to the last dungeon in Echoes of Wisdom.
Unsurprisingly, the Zelda speedrunning community has taken use of the flaw to significantly accelerate completion times; nevertheless, the duration of this exploit remains uncertain.
Reddit user xIceblue posted a detailed walkthrough of the exploit's methodology. "It's now possible to [warp] from after you beat the first dungeon to the final dungeon (although it softlocks)," the user stated.
Thus, we managed to [warp] to just before and battle the boss there.
The video that xIceblue uploaded and that is shown below demonstrates how to use the Echo ability in the game. It entails placing signposts on trees until more than one menu appears on top of another. It's obvious that this behavior is not intended. From here, players can access the world map of the game and just drop Zelda to a location close to Echoes of Wisdom's conclusion.
It should go without saying that if you do not want to view the game's final area, you should not watch the clip of someone warping there.

Zelda speedrunner Onaku isn't stopping there. You can witness his "any%" finish of the game on YouTube after he released it on Twitch in just 52 minutes. As of this writing, Onaku is streaming and hopes to cut that duration even more, to less than 50 minutes.
It will be fascinating to observe how long this exploit persists or if Nintendo fixes it in a future release.
